St. Bartholomew's Church
As a Church of England School, worship is a crucial part of the Christian life of the school. Therefore, children and staff engage in a daily collective worship. Children are given the opportunity to lead worship in the church and classrooms, and engage in discussions and reflections every week which forms an important part of their spiritual development.
Open the Book
Every Wednesday, the children visit the church for a special collective worship led by church warden and governors Jane and Dean Hall. Open the Book is an exciting storytelling project where Bible stories are shared with children in a way that is fun, interactive and memorable.
Experience Easter
This is a wonderful opportunity for school and church to come together to celebrate Easter. Stations are set up by the school and church community for all to enjoy. This is accessed by people of all ages from our youngest school children to our eldest church members. Opportunities are given to learn, dig deeper and reflect at each of the Easter stations.
Cafe Church
Join the weekly Café Church! This is held in the church hall at St Bartholomew’s. It is an informal, family friendly gathering with refreshments, combining the core elements of a church service with the gathering of friends in a café!
Every Sunday at 9.30am
